Randy Goleman, PMHNP

Randy is a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner with a comprehensive personal history and experiences, ranging from being a war vet and EMS to working with children in an acute care facility as a nurse before his work in psychiatric practice.

I found myself drawn to helping many different groups of people. While helping my brothers and sisters-in-arms who faced different and challenging experiences while serving our country, I gained much experience with anxiety, depression, PTSD, and sleeping issues. I believe in helping everyone I see have a better day tomorrow than yesterday. I’ve also had the opportunity to work in an acute-care facility for youths and adults. In doing so, I worked with people with various diagnoses and needs. The observation that stood out to me the most was helping children who have had ADHD/ADD and seeing how fast they can improve in school and with their social life with treatment.

For fun and being a vet from Idaho, fun follows expectations. I like hiking, camping, and competitive shooting, and all tend to be things that are no surprise. However, I do find gardening relaxing, too.
